Back from the Dead
The new album concludes with the release of the title track, track number 13. The song represents literally hundreds of hours of work. There's nothing prepared or automated about what I do. I make kits. I don't cheat in any way. This is one hundred percent hand composed sequencing. The end.
Life After Death
Song Twelve of Back from the Dead. This leaves the title song. Finished this last night after a marathon composing session, forgot to post here.
Semi Final
https://soundcloud.com/whitnall/void-beyond-the-veil and https://soundcloud.com/whitnall/light-beyond-the-veil Two more songs left to finish the album. They will both most definitely will be 12 minutes minimum WITH lyrics. I would have written and performed lyrics for everything. I have stage fright so bad I am paralyzed by a microphone. C'est la vie. I'll do it for this album though.
Ashes to Ashes [Semi Mix]
Song Nine of Back from the Dead. I should have made it much longer, since I was heavily into the jam. It just kills me to compose too long though.
Autopsy Cold [Version Two]
Song seven, re-released. It had 8 notes that bothered me. So I remixed it, made it longer and re-uploaded it. And here it is.
I was going back to writing the new American novel today. This album needs more immediate attention than the book does right now. The novel isn't going to be finished any time soon. It also may cost a good bit to read when it is finished, whereas I feel very strongly about sharing music.

Partially Written
The phrase "partially written" could apply to a huge number of things I started in the past. In this case it refers to a new book I am working on. Book One is written, although I am still editing. The novel is likely to be 15 times longer than Book One.
None of this new novel will be posted, unless all of it gets posted. I have yet to decide whether or not to sell it. I am 64 pages into it, however. Finishing the work seems a lot more important than the title, or what to do when it's finished.
A friend is also helping me understand a more modern approach to presentation of content. It's my hope to have a new website up and running by the time the novel is finished. Between now and then I am releasing music, to make it clear I haven't stopped being an artist. Death is probably the only thing that could stop me.

The Wrong God
Song Three of Back from the Dead features a couple of samples from the UK series skins, and also from the Japanese animated series Parasyte. I attempted a different direction than normal, and I didn't like it, so I ended the son quite earlier than I had intended to. I still haven't released any new hard hitting, ultra memorable and catchy break beats. I am saving all the best stuff for this weekend.
Wiyrd
Album: Back from the Dead. The title says it all. This is my first release in over two years after a devastating car wreck. This is a rough, minimal track uploaded at low quality, because uploading anything sizable on this public Wi-Fi was time prohibitive. The full wall of sound track will be released the day after Thanksgiving in FLAC.
Survival
The resident writer and musician survived another of nature's assassination attempts. One can expect a few problems when having epidural abscesses, meningitis and endocarditis at once, and this case fits that bill. At this point my arms can't be picked up above chest level, and moving them hurts, to go with the mind numbing back pain and sciatica that was already in effect. Not to mention the new thing I discovered spondylolisthesis has to offer, which is dropped foot (ojoy). But I am still alive, and so is this site.
There won't be any new music for quite some time. The resources all evaporated in the face of physical adversity. Until I breathe no more, however, there will always be a plan for new creations to be brought forth again.
The blog will be devoted solely to writing until such time as I can set up music production again. This is a good thing. I owe the world a good novel, or, well, a novel that I feel is worthy of the world. Of the novels I have written so far, none of them fit that bill in my opinion. It is very nearly time for me to put one of those out, however, and so expect that.
I remain your devoted observer and fan, oh you people of the world. Nothing fascinates me more than humans and human culture. While I may have taken several steps closer to death, and become even more of a junkie than I was before (if that's possible), that does not change my admiration for the insanity and majesty that is homo sapiens. Carry on, carry on.
