Secret Service Investigating

The man who shouted "Kill him!" at a Palin rally is the subject of a Secret Service investigation. They may or may not know who it was yet, but they are working on it. I fully approve. At this point if a wingnut talks about murder, I believe them 100%. They are frakking dangerous.

Since I have writers block (sigh), today I took part in a marathon heated debate at Daily Kos over the incident. A few moronic Democrats actually stood up for the GOP candidates. Some liberals are like Charlie Brown trying to kick the football. After 8,000 comments the argument finally died. It was a great way to kill time, but not much of a way to solve anything. I got to call somebody a ruby throated thrush. I've wanted to call somebody that for years. It was very satisfying.

This blog is going to turn techie, sci-fi, fantasy, gaming and programming oriented starting tomorrow. I burned out on the politics when Obama opened up a healthy lead. Apparently my interest in the subject is directly proportional to the closeness of the race. I'm already planning a review of Bruce Sterling's last project. I'm going to interview Cory Doctorow on gchat, or so he has led me to believe. I'm going to review the latest Linux distros. I have the latest Ubuntu and PClos releases, so that should be fun. I may do an excursion into FreeBSD just to see how hard it is. Hopefully by that time there will be something else to write about.

A Quick Rundown
